Names of 2 Men Involved in Fatal Shooting Released
TUJUNGA — Police released the names of two Tujunga men Friday who were involved in a dispute that ended in the shooting death of one and the wounding of the other.
According to police, Flavio Cruz, 38, was shot and killed by Farrell Warren, 30, after the two men began arguing Thursday and then exchanged gunfire in the garage of a home in the 10300 block of Wilsey Avenue. The cause of the argument was not known.
Warren was shot once in the upper torso and was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. A spokeswoman for the hospital on Friday said she could not disclose any information about Warren.
Detective Mike Oppelt said that both men lived in the same house with a woman who is the mother of Warren and was the girlfriend of Cruz.
Oppelt said that Warren has not been arrested.
