CAMARILLO : City Aims to Fill Investment Panel
Camarillo city officials are seeking volunteers who have experience in finance, banking or accounting to serve on the city’s investment committee.
Formed after the city lost $25 million in the late 1980s through high-risk investments, the committee of residents and city staff meets monthly to discuss Camarillo’s investment strategy and banking procedures.
The City Council wants to appoint a resident to serve for two years beginning in September.
For information or to apply, contact City Clerk Marilyn J. Thiel at City Hall, 388-5314.
