GOLF : Booth Keeps Share of Lead

Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza shot a two-over-par 74 Thursday to retain a share of the lead in the girls’ division after two rounds of the Wilson Geneva National Junior Golf Championship in Lake Geneva, Wis.
Heather Graff of Kennewick, Wash., shot a second-round 73 to move into tie with Booth at 146. The two are five shots ahead of their closest pursuers.

Alicia Allison of Santa Ana shot a final-round one-over 73 to finish tied for second in the girls’ division of the Las Vegas Founders’ Legacy Junior tournament in Henderson, Nev.
Allison finished the 54-hole tournament two shots behind the winner, Jody Niemann of Rigby, Idaho, who was five-over par.

Ryan Chavez of Placentia shot two-under 70 at Recreation Park Golf Course in Long Beach to finish second at the Tom Crosby Memorial Junior Golf Championship. Michael Mitani of Monterey Park shot 69 to win.
Fullerton’s Jin Park won the 14-15 division, shooting 71.
