Burke Will Speak at Group’s Meeting
Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke will answer questions from residents at a meeting of Crenshaw Neighbors Inc. on Tuesday.
Crenshaw Neighbors President Ted Lumpkin said the evening’s agenda includes updates on neighborhood land-use plans for Crenshaw, transportation plans for the Crenshaw Corridor, how the county budget crisis will affect Southwest Los Angeles and redevelopment of the Wichstand restaurant in Windsor Hills.
Members will also hear from Glen Clark, manager of the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, who will provide an update on mall events.
The 7 p.m. meeting will be at the Foundation for the Junior Blind, 5300 Angeles Vista Blvd. Parking is at the Alviso Avenue and 54th Street entrance.
