VENTURA : Woman Indicted in Bank Robbery
An Ojai woman has been indicted on federal charges in connection with the robbery of a Bank of America in June, FBI officials announced Wednesday.
Susanne A. Malloy, 37, was charged Tuesday by a federal grand jury in Los Angeles with the June 11 robbery of the Bank of America at 2698 E. Main St. in Ventura, officials said.
Police identified Malloy as a suspect after witnesses described a car seen leaving the bank. Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrested Malloy after finding the car in Oak View the night of the robbery.
Malloy’s trial date has not been set. She faces a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a $5,000 fine if convicted. She is being held in federal custody in Los Angeles.
