Finnair Cancels Order for Boeing Jetliners: Finland’s state-controlled airline canceled negotiations with Boeing on replacing its fleet of McDonnell Douglas wide-body jetliners with Boeing’s 767 aircraft. Under an April letter of intent, Boeing and Beverly Hills-based International Lease Finance said they were entering negotiations on replacing Finnair’s MD-11s and DC-10s with Boeing aircraft. A Douglas Aircraft spokeswoman said the turnaround was important to retain a critical customer.
