WEEKEND TV : U.S. Open, Dinosaurs for Father’s Day

Father’s Day weekend will feature an odd mixture of dinosaurs and golf.
On Sunday, KCET will present the miniseries “The Dinosaurs!” at 1 p.m. on Channel 28.
For the kids, also on Sunday, KCET will air four back-to-back episodes of “Barney and Friends,” beginning at 8 a.m. (28).
Meanwhile, ABC follows the third and final rounds of the U.S. Open golf championship at Springfield, N.J., today and Sunday at 10 a.m. on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.
