Glendale Offers Free Manufacturing Course
As part of a program to help eliminate sex bias, Glendale Community College is offering a free orientation course in manufacturing technology, and is encouraging women and minority students to sign up.
Students will receive hands-on experience on a variety of machines as well as study the job market through visits to local companies.
The program, which was funded by a grant from the Carl Perkins Vocational Education Act, starts Monday and runs through July 30.
