WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Law Firm Cited: Morrison & Foerster, a San Francisco law firm with an office in Irvine, has been cited as one of three top companies for exemplary efforts to advance managerial and professional women. The honor was bestowed by Catalyst, a research and consulting organization in New York.
Morrison & Foerster is the first law firm to win in the 18-year history of the Catalyst Awards, the consulting organization said. The law firm was chosen for its ratio of women partners (20% of 230), its liberal work and family programs, and its ongoing training to help people work together without prejudice or harassment.
The other 1993 winners were Con Edison and Motorola.
