Manchester Gains Wire-to-Wire Victory

COSTA MESA — Chris Manchester of Hesperia won the four-lap scratch main event in the weekly speedway motorcycle program Friday at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Manchester led the entire race. Scott Brant of Riverside was second, Steve Lucero of Riverside was third and Robert Pfetzing of Orange fourth.
Brent Warner of Hesperia won the eight-lap handicap main event coming off the 30-yard line.
