Regarding Eric Shepard’s article of June 1: The Long Beach Poly coaching staff and some parents were with the Poly athletes last Friday evening for the CIF Masters Meet. No one “broke out in laughter” as the Long Beach Wilson team arrived (as charged by Therese Butler, Wilson girls’ coach, in the article).
