PREP BASEBALL : Tustin Stuns Bishop Amat
The Tustin High School baseball team stunned top-seeded and unbeaten Bishop Amat, 5-4, Friday in the Southern Section Division III playoffs at Tustin, ending the Lancers’ 27-game winning streak.
It was the first loss for Bishop Amat (27-1) since the semifinals of the Division I playoffs last season.
Tustin (20-9-1) was a wild-card entry into the tournament.
