The Laff Stop, Orange County’s first full-time comedy nightclub, has sworn off laughs altogether to devote itself exclusively to topless dancing. Prompted by a dive in comedy audiences, the club switched to exotic dance revues last February, relegating comedy to two shows on Saturday nights. Now, those shows have been dropped too, the club announced this week. The club, in the unincorporated community of Santa Ana Heights, opened in 1976 and featured in its early years to such comics as Robin Williams, David Letterman, Jay Leno and Arsenio Hall.
