Larger Quarters: Subscriber Computing Inc., which makes software for cellular phone and paging companies, has moved from Irvine to new headquarters in Laguna Hills.

Mark Nielsen, president of the firm, said the company has doubled the number of its employees since 1990 to 50 and needed extra space. The new headquarters, 10,000 square feet, is about twice as big as the company’s previous space.

Nielsen said he expects to expand the company’s work force by 25% in the next year.

Subscriber Computing’s software helps telecommunications companies automatically handle billing, inventory, customer service and monitor against billing fraud.
