Guns-for-Money Swap Nets Over 700 Firearms

OMAHA, Neb. — More than 700 firearms have been handed in during the fourth guns-for-money exchange here, organizers said.
Mad Dads, an organization that fights violence and drugs, paid $100 for assault rifles and $25 for single-shot rifles and shotguns.
Group president Eddie Staton said that 718 guns, 31 toy guns and 18 replica weapons were collected Saturday.
