Economic Forecast Trimmed Slightly: Taiwan’s economy is now expected to grow 6.33% in 1993, down from a forecast of 6.60% in February, according to the government. The Cabinet statistics office said that slow growth in industrial production and exports led to the downward revision in the gross national product forecast. The government also reduced its forecast for second-quarter growth by 0.66% point from three months ago, to 5.88%.
