Concerning Wanda Coleman’s “Fight for Firepower” (Three on the Town, April 18): As the death march of innocents to their early graves continues, supporters of the NRA remain adamant that they need their guns to defend themselves. Just think of it! The number of people successfully defending themselves and their property from an armed assailant because a firearm is at hand is infinitesimally small compared to the amount of carnage accidentally and purposely being caused by guns in the hands of the general population.
