Clinton to Hold News Conference
WASHINGTON — President Clinton will hold a formal news conference at 10 a.m. PDT today, the White House announced Thursday.
CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox and C-SPAN had decided by Thursday afternoon to televise the news conference. ABC had not made a decision, said Teri Everett, a spokeswoman for the network.
White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers said the news conference, which is expected to focus on the Bosnia crisis and domestic political issues, would take place in the White House Rose Garden or the press briefing room, depending on the weather.
Clinton has held two other formal news conferences since taking office in January.
