PREP ROUNDUP : Crouch Sparks Marina to Softball Victory

Marcy Crouch pitched a five-inning one-hitter to lead Marina to a 10-0 victory over Rosary in a Sunset League softball game Wednesday at Rosary.
Crouch struck out five and didn’t issue a walk for No. 3 Marina (20-3, 12-1). Lynette Velasquez had two doubles and two runs batted in. Rosary is 9-11 and 6-7.
In other Sunset League softball:
Ocean View 11, Edison 1 (5 innings, mercy rule)--Jennifer Hatcher hit a grand slam and Stacy Avalos followed with a home run in the fourth inning for host Ocean View (19-5, 11-2). Avalos also had a triple.
