THOUSAND OAKS : Juveniles Arrested in Attempted Burglary
Thousand Oaks sheriff’s deputies have arrested three juveniles on suspicion of attempted burglary at a business in the 600 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, officials said.
The two officers were eating at a restaurant down the street from the business about 8:45 p.m. Monday when they heard an alarm go off, police said. When they went to investigate, they saw three juvenile males walking from behind the building, officials said.
The officers stopped the youths and discovered one of them had a pair of small bolt cutters, police said. No sign of forced entry was found at the business or at an adjacent business, they said.
The youths, two of them 17 years old and the other 15, were taken to Juvenile Hall, officials said.
