Honda Again Leads in Owner Loyalty: For the third consecutive year, Honda was the top automobile in terms of owner loyalty during 1992, said R.L. Polk & Co., an independent research company that tracks new car registrations and title applications. During 1992, 40% of Honda owners looking for a new car bought another Honda, the Detroit researchers said. Honda was followed by Toyota, Buick, Ford and Lexus in the rankings. Honda was also ranked by Polk as the top brand in owner loyalty among import nameplates in 1992, for the 16th consecutive year.
