Terry Davis, Dallas Maverick forward, shattered his left elbow and a passenger was killed when his car ran off the road and struck a tree early Sunday morning near Davis’ hometown of South Boston, Va., officials said.
Marlin C. Moody, 28, of South Boston was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:30 a.m. EDT, state police said. No charges have been filed in the incident, Trooper Ed Tuck said.
