Sales Grow: Tustin Market Place, which opened its doors in 1988, reported that 1992 sales grew by 25.8% to $156.4 million. Donahue Schriber Development, the mall operator and co-owner with Irvine Co., linked the revenue growth to increased consumer interest in “category killers”--large chain stores such as Ikea, Toys R Us and Home Depot.
