THEY’LL REMEMBER: Friday’s death of farm labor organizer Cesar Chavez was met with sadness by members of El Teatro Campesino, the acting troupe that was founded on the grape picket lines of Central California in the mid-’60s. Performances by the troupe at the old Yost Theatre in Santa Ana--today through Tuesday--will be dedicated to Chavez’s memory. (F1) . . . Says troupe managing director Phillip Esparza: “It’s a tremendous loss. . . . His leadership and inspiration and just his being has meant so much to us.”
