Play-Reading Benefit for Stage Group

The 7th Annual Playwright’s Express, a play-reading marathon of 15-minute plays and scenes, will be hosted by First Stage at the United Methodist Church in Hollywood on Saturdays and Sundays through May 2, from 1 to 10 p.m.
During the marathon, staged readings of 27 short theatrical works will be presented daily as a fund-raiser for First Stage, a nonprofit play and screenplay development organization.
Tickets are $5 per day or $9 per weekend.
