GET THE HOOK: What’s in a name anyway? If you attend an elementary school on a street named Hooker, it can be embarrassing. That’s what three fifth-graders at Circle View school told the Huntington Beach City Council this week. They formally asked the council to rename Hooker Drive. . . . “The word hooker has changed over the years to a new definition that’s not appropriate,” Kate Grabel, 11, solemnly told the council. Council members, trying not to smile, said they would look into the matter.
