Is the Angry Author Just a Couch Potato?

I have not read “Tim and Pete,” and after reading the article I definitely wouldn’t bother.

I too am angry. I am angered by the ignorance and hypocrisy of gay whites like Baker who, because of the AIDS crisis, believe they have cornered the market on deserved pity, imposed oppression and societal neglect.

There are thousands of gays in this city who are people of color as well. We do not only face the very same discrimination Baker does, but racism on top of it.
