Hollywood Manners
I wanted to stand up and clap right at the breakfast table after I read Charlton Heston’s Counterpunch, “Of Trust, Manners and How Hollywood Works” (April 12).
I love to watch the Academy Awards show and see the stars present the awards just for performing in a motion picture, not, as Heston said, to “sneak in and steal your 23 seconds. That’s cheating.”
Bravo, Mr. Heston.
