Two University of Nevada football players were suspended from the team after being arrested in connection with a campus altercation.
Defensive back Garnett Overby and defensive lineman Tawan Hall, both redshirt freshmen, were arrested by university police Wednesday at the football practice field.
Overby was arrested for investigation of battery with a deadly weapon and battery with intent to do substantial bodily harm. Hall was booked on a simple battery charge.
