Questionable Statements
Has anyone noticed that Ray Magana, a candidate for the 7th District council seat, is getting a very long nose? Proof positive is in the April 9 issue of the Los Angeles Times.
Magana originally stated that he was born in California and registered to vote in 1978. In fact, he was born in Mexico and didn’t become a naturalized citizen until 1989 (11 years later)! He was certainly not qualified to vote during the interim period.
Fortunately, the 7th District has other good choices, the best being Richard Alarcon, a candidate whom I have worked with and who has had extensive experience in political, governmental, financial and community affairs.
