Dangerous Potholes
I recently read an article in the Valley edition about “Complaints of Potholes.” Recently, I had a very unfortunate experience with a pothole on Satsuma Avenue in North Hollywood. I fell in the early evening and injured myself.
I contacted the city of Los Angeles and complained. They gave no date or time when they would be able to fix it. It has been partly repaired now, but other holes and cracks in the street still need attention.
How many more people are going to be injured and how many automobiles are going to be damaged because of potholes? The city did offer to send me a claim form for my injuries, but that still doesn’t hurry up the repairs.
Hey, city of L.A., I live in North Hollywood and I, like others, would like to have smooth, safe streets to drive on and walk across. The streets that need repair, among others too numerous to mention, are Cleon Avenue, Satsuma Avenue and Riverton Avenue, all with a cross street at Victory Boulevard.
