SOUTH : Community Cleanup Scheduled Saturday
Concerned Citizens of South Central Los Angeles will sponsor a local community cleanup Saturday.
Known as the “Great L.A Gutter Clean-Up and Graffiti Paint-Out,” the event will focus on picking up refuse in streets, alleys and gutters in the area bounded by Vernon Avenue on the south, Martin Luther King Boulevard on the north, Hooper Avenue on the east and McKinley Avenue on the west.
Participants should meet at the offices of Concerned Citizens, 4111 S. Central Ave. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
