Harry C. Payne Named Williams College President

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Trustees of Williams College, one of the top liberal arts schools in the country, on Friday chose Harry C. Payne as the school’s a new president. Payne, 46, takes over Jan. 1 from retiring President Francis Oakley.
