Times’ Murray Honored by PGA
Times columnist Jim Murray has been named the recipient of the PGA Lifetime Achievement Award in Journalism.
Murray, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1989, was awarded golf’s highest writing honor by a selection committee from all sectors of professional and amateur golf, the European PGA tour as well as golf course architects and course owners.
Murray, 73, is the third recipient of the award, which he will receive today at Augusta, Ga., site of the Masters.
