Time Warner to Create 1,000 Summer Jobs: Responding to a request from President Clinton, Time Warner Inc. announced that it will create more than 1,000 summer jobs for poor youths. The jobs will be in every Time Warner division across the country, with most located in Los Angeles and New York, spokesman Edward Adler said. Adler said the jobs would be in addition to “a couple of hundred” hires Time Warner normally makes each summer. They will be created in each of its divisions, including Home Box Office, Time Warner Cable, Warner Music Group and the Six Flags Theme Parks, of which Time Warner owns half.
