Maxi Revolution Responds to the Masses
Maybe, as it says in “The Super, Ultra, Maxi Revolution” (March 4), Joan of Arc and Anne Boleyn’s lives wouldn’t have been affected by the revolution in sanitary pads. But my life as a mail carrier is immeasurably better.
I resent Mary Ann Hogan’s attempt to belittle the feminine protection industry’s move to be genuinely responsive to its customers.
Every month lately I’ve been wanting to write them a thank-you note, telling them that it’s so seldom that a business puts on its thinking cap and solves a problem so well for its customers.
So what if they make a million in the process--they deserve it.
