Water District Officials and Their Perks
I cannot believe that in these hard economic times, Walter Knitz and Michael Lord are able to spend water district money with no controls. Knitz comments, “What’s wrong with having wine with your meal?” Nothing, if you pay for it yourself.
I question the high salaries these men are paid. Over $100,000 per year seems excessive in my mind. These are $60,000-$70,000-per-year jobs. This kind of overpayment to public workers and perks has got to quit.
Perhaps this weekend, these men are staying at the Four Seasons at our expense. (For) myself, it’s Sunday, March 28, (and) I’m going to work. I’ll pay for my own lunch, and no alcohol during working hours.
