Using Child’s Name in a Crime Story

How dare you have the audacity and such a cavalier attitude to print the 11-year-old child’s full name and remarks concerning a murder in your publication (“ ‘Nobody Cares About a Murder Anymore,’ ” March 14.)

It is very possible you’ve endangered the child’s life.

If the minor had been an Anglo, there would probably have been no mention of the source. I’d like to know if you would print your child’s name in such an article.
