Muddying Things Up in NCAA Tournament

Before Roy Williams and the Kansas players rely too heavily on the powers of the mighty Mississippi River, they better do a little checking on the hydrology of the St. Louis area. They would discover that if one spits in the river in St. Louis, the river is the Missouri, not the Mississippi. Although the rivers join north of St. Louis, the waters aren’t fully merged until some distance south of the city. The St. Louis shoreline is on the Big Muddy, and not on the Mississippi. Guess that poses a problem for the Jayhawks in New Orleans.
