COLLEGE BASKETBALL / MEN’S FINAL FOUR NOTES : KANSAS
Guard Adonis Jordan could care less about the stress fracture in his left leg. He has played with the injury for six weeks and he’s not about to stop now, two victories shy of a national championship.
“I could play three more weeks if I had to,” Jordan said. “This is the Final Four.”
The injury has been diagnosed as a stress fracture in his lower left tibia. It has been termed mild and bothersome, but Jordan describes it another way.
“It’s like an itch that won’t go away,” Jordan said. “But why use that as an excuse anyway? I just have to play whether it hurts or not. So why think about it?”
Jordan is averaging 13 points a game during the NCAA tournament.
