A Colgate football player died and another student was seriously injured in an early morning brawl at the State University of New York at Morrisville, police said.
Kyndle Mongeon, a junior offensive lineman, was stabbed in the lower back during the fight between Colgate and Morrisville students at an off-campus housing complex, according to police.
Brian Galati, 19, of Deer Park, N.Y., was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
