2 Seriously Hurt in Head-On Crash
IRVINE — Two people were seriously injured Thursday night in a head-on collision involving a car and tractor-trailer on Laguna Canyon Road, police said.
The tractor-trailer jackknifed during the 8:30 p.m. accident, forcing authorities to close the road between El Toro Road and the San Diego Freeway for about an hour.
The injured were taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo. No further details were available late Thursday.
