Parent-Liability Law Unneeded; Teen Offenders Should Be Named

I am a citizen of an age that you could classify me as a juvenile. I have never committed a crime that would warrant an arrest. One could call me a rather innocent individual. Despite that, I have been made uncomfortable, embarrassed, singled out, and insulted for simply being a juvenile.
I utterly support the movement to make juvenile offenders’ names known. Because of the minority of juvenile offenders who have been kept anonymous, the majority of innocent juveniles have been stereotyped as being radicals and trouble-makers.
The names of juvenile suspects should be revealed because it would remove the stereotype surrounding many teens today and would even discourage other juveniles from committing crimes. Otherwise, we teen-agers will go on being punished for crimes others have committed.
