‘Seinfeld’s’ Hat Trick: NBC’s “Seinfeld” picked up three awards at the seventh annual American Comedy Awards Sunday, including a win for actor Jerry Seinfeld and supporting awards for actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus and actor Jason Alexander. Other multiple winners were Billy Crystal, who received a special creative achievement award and another for his hosting of the 64th annual Academy Awards show, and the film “Sister Act,” which won for funniest actress (Whoopi Goldberg) and supporting actress (Kathy Najimy). Other winners included Roseanne Arnold for “Roseanne” and Joe Pesci for the film “My Cousin Vinny.” Receiving lifetime achievement awards were Shirley MacLaine and Richard Pryor. The show airs Wednesday on ABC.
