OUTLOOK
The Falcons are a team everyone should be wary of. They have two exceptional players in Correa and Crosby. Correa hit .326 last season and was named first-team all-league. Crosby was a second-team pick. He was 5-4 but 4-2 in league play, and he had a 2.19 earned-run average and walked only 20 batters in 63 2/3 innings. Those two will be the backbone of the team. There is a mixture of youth and experience, as the Falcons may start as many as three sophomores. The best of the bunch is Valdez, a starter last season. Runs may be hard to come by, as there is little power. The Falcons will do a lot of bunting and stealing. Finding a second starter also will take time. Manzo has experience, but sophomores Ayala and Serrano have good ability. All three will get a big look in nonleague play. Musick is very high on Castro, who sat out last season because of grades.
