ALL ABOARD: Fullerton has grown to 114,000 people, the county’s fifth-largest city. Brothers George and Edward Amerige started it all with their 1887 purchase of 430 acres. They hooked up with George Fullerton, who brought the Santa Fe Railway to town and got things going. . . . Incorporated in 1904, the city has an official flower--carnation--and tree--jacaranda.
