SOCCER PAIRINGS : Santa Ana Valley Wins Coin Flip, Home Game

Top-seeded Santa Ana Valley won a coin flip and will play host to West Torrance in the second round of the Southern Section Division II boys’ soccer playoffs Tuesday.
Santa Ana, the top-seeded team in Division I, lost a coin flip and will travel Thursday to play Santa Monica in the quarterfinals. Ocean View, the second-seeded team in Division I, will be host to its Thursday quarterfinal against Hawthorne.
Tuesday’s second-round pairings for Orange County teams:
DIVISION II--West Torrance at Santa Ana Valley; Capistrano Valley at Villa Park; San Clemente at El Modena; Esperanza at Cerritos Gahr.
DIVISION III--Anaheim at Laguna Hills; Arroyo Grande at Trabuco Hills; Brea-Olinda vs. Bell Gardens (site TBA).
DIVISION IV--Temple City at Saddleback; Norwalk Glenn at Corona del Mar; Sonora at San Dimas; Santa Margarita at Palm Springs.
DIVISION V--Palos Verdes Chadwick at Orange Lutheran.
Thursday’s quarterfinal pairings:
DIVISION I--Santa Ana at Santa Monica; Hawthorne at Ocean View.
