I had the misfortune of turning on the news on KNBC-TV Channel 4 only to be greeted by the vile footage. Sadly, the world’s greatest form of communication had reached an all-time low when we succumb to murder for ratings and profit. Paddy Chayefsky (the writer of “Network”) was truly a prophet.
