Mall-School Program: Sometimes it’s good news that your son or daughter is spending time at the local mall.
That’s the case with a yearlong program initiated in January by the Mall of Orange and Cerro Villa Middle School in Villa Park.
The Student of the Month Partnership Program recognizes a Cerro Villa student who makes the grade in a number of scholastic endeavors. The Student of the Month must also participate in the Homework Club, where students help each other with studies, or the Cross-Age Tutoring Class, where older students tutor younger ones.
Each month’s winner will receive a $15 Mall of Orange County gift certificate, and his or her photograph will remain on display at the mall for the rest of the month.
