TECHNOLOGY : Rockwell’s Anaheim Unit Wins $13-Million ‘Star Wars’ Contract

Rockwell International Corp.’s Defense Electronics business in Anaheim won a $13.1-million contract to do research and development related to the Strategic Defense Initiative, the program better known as “Star Wars.”
Under the 39-month contract, Rockwell Defense Electronics’ Electro-Optical Center will produce detection equipment that the missile defense system would use to track enemy missiles.
